PixMeTV claims to be the world's first "citizen pornography mobile phone movie platform", blending together two of the internet's most popular content streams, social networking and pornography. The site says it intends to allow any user equipped with a video-capable phone to be "producer, director and star" of their own adult movie and make money from the clips filmed as well as network socially.

PixMeTV supports mobile and online social networking between community members, but its primary hook is the allocation of a free, personalised online store where users can upload and sell their home-made adult movie clips. Users can network with other community members to sell their content, with adult-only clips selling for around USD1.36 and 'all ages' clips for USD0.77. A range of promotion tools such as referral links, banners and web triggers are included, as well as advice on how users can promote and monetise their movies. Users receive a cut of the price each time one of their clips is downloaded, USD0.19 for adult content and USD0.09 for all ages, the remainder going to PixMeTV and its billing partner Bango.

Ed Baker, director of PixMeTV says that the company intends to become a ubiquitous online brand in the vein of YouTube, with PixMeTV regarded as the representative of cheap, user-generated adult material in the same way Google represents online searching.
